Many thanks for your interest in applying to the Production Finance Market and its New Talent Strand (formerly known as Micro Market).

The main PFM invites established EU and international producers to apply, who:

have a film or TV Drama project with a budget of at least €1m, that is clearly aimed at an international audience

have a significant production track record and/or:

have a highly promising project aimed at the theatrical or broadcast market with packaged elements in place (completed script, director, budget, two lead actors where possible)

The New Talent Strand prioritises filmmakers who are applying with their first or second feature.

Further New Talent application requirements are:

Project needs to be budgeted to a maximum of €1m (lower budget).

Filmmaking teams (producer & director) are required to attend

Producer must have demonstrable experience of physical production and/or financing

Director must demonstrate proven success with work in film festivals, broadcast television, theatre, commercials, music promo etc.

You can apply for the New Talent Strand to access completion finance – we will require a link to a URL of the edited film and creative and financial information related to the final spend on the film.

Please note:

When applying to New Talent Strand you are required to submit a script that is fully developed and ready for finance. Applicants wishing to access completion finance do not need to upload a script.
